Chimichurri Steak Bowl

This is a very filling and nutrient dense bowl. I got my steak from @rarecuts_kw.

To cook the steak:

1. Rub it with some olive oil, salt, and pepper. 

2. Lightly mark the surface of the steak with a knife with multiple slices. (Don’t put a lot of pressure when doing this) 

3. Heat an iron grill skillet on high heat and place the steak on it once it’s well heated. To test if it’s ready, drop some water and see if it sizzles.

4. Place the steak on the skillet and do not touch it. After 2 minutes, flip the steak and keep it on for another 2 minutes. 

5. Let it rest on a cooking rack for a couple of minutes. 

6. Slice the steak and save it to assemble your bowl 😋 

For the Chimichurri:

A bunch of parsley 

A bunch of coriander 

1 lemon, juiced 

1 tsp salt

2 tbs apple cider vinegar 

2 cloves garlic 

1/2 cup olive oil

1 tsp crushed red pepper

Chili slices based on preference 

1. Blend everything in a food processor. You can adjust by adding more olive oil if needed. 

2. Top of your steak with the sauce. 

3. Save the rest an airtight container and store it in the fridge for later use.
