Asian Chicken Bowl
Power bowls 🍛 are a great way to use up your extra veggies or leftover rice! This forbidden rice bowl is topped off with sesame chicken, soy glazed mushrooms, and mixed vegetables.
Sesame Chicken:
1. Marinate chicken breast with:
5 tbs olive oil
5 tbs soy sauce
3 tbs sesame oil
1 tbs honey
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp ginger
2. Cut off the mushroom stem and marinate the mushrooms cap with:
2 tbs soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
3. Steam the asparagus and baby corn (you can use any vegetables you want).
4. Cook the chicken breast and add the steamed veggies to the pan.
5. Cook the mushrooms on the stove.
6. Assemble rice bowl and top it off with toasted sesame seeds.
Note: I used black rice (forbidden rice) but you can use any rice you want!
