Today’s Gym Review is for the Versaclimber “Climb to the beat” class @ BXR.
I’ve always wanted to try a versaclimber class after finding out about Rise Nation in LA.
I was excited when I saw that BXR offers a similar style class. It is basically like a spinning class (theme/music wise) using a versaclimber instead of a spinning bike. I was scared going into it because I have sensitive knees, but I was surprised to find out that it’s actually very low impact on the joints, and you get a lot out of the 45 minutes! I climbed over 4000 ft.
The class itself was a nice change for a cardio class. The facilities at BXR were amazing too (there’s a joe and the juice inside!!)
I didn’t like the playlist though so it made the class go by slow. It’s an interesting class, but I don’t see myself doing it more than once every few weeks to change it up. It’s worth a try! Comment your if you’ve tried this class before. 💪
