Workout Review: 1Rebel (London)

Whenever I am in London, I have to stop by 1rebel. The facility is very cool and the trainers are all friendly. There are multiple locations all around London.

The branch I go to (bayswater) offers two classes: Ride (spinning) and Reshape (bootcamp). As with most classes, the intensity differs based on trainers. My favorite trainers are Sarah S and Sarah F. I only tried Dom for Reshape and he was good!
Ride:
The spinning class is really fun and energetic. The playlist is usually🔥 too. There are 1-2 arm tracks depending on the trainer with the lowest weights being 2 kg. The room is a bit tight but it’s never stuffy because it’s well ventilated. The only thing I didn’t like was that on the bike, you had no way of knowing if you are in the right resistance range. You have to make sure you are actually pushing yourself to the right resistance.
Reshape:
Reshape is structured similar to Barry’s Bootcamp (but I enjoyed it much more). The class is broken down into timed rounds between the treadmill and a bench for floor exercises. The longest round was only 10 minutes, so the time goes by so fast. The floor exercises were a bit basic, but the treadmill rounds were intense. Their treadmill was very easy on the joints. I didn’t feel any pain after the class which usually happens when I’m on a treadmill.
There are several branches of 1rebel across london!

They recently opened the biggest spinning studio next to Victoria Station (it is two-floors!). I did not enjoy that specific studio that much because it was too busy.
