Workout Review: One10 Cycle (London)

One10 Cycle offers two different spinning classes. The traditional spinning class is called Nirvana, and they offer a spinning class called Paceline which is more competitive.

I first tried out the Nirvana class and enjoyed it! The bike itself was very comfortable and easy to manage. There is a screen that displays your rpm and resistance. This made it easier to know how fast/how heavy you should go. Usually, three different resistance numbers are called out by the trainer depending on your level. The spinning rooms were in the basement, but they are very well ventilated. The playlist was okay, but the trainer was very motivating. We did 1 hand weights track towards the end of the session, but there wasn’t much variety in the moves.

I later tried their paceline class, which is similar to flywheel, where your stats are displayed on a screen during the class. The paceline class is much more challenging, and I found the numbers being called out difficult for half the class to achieve. No songs were playing in the background, just background music, so it was not very motivating.

Overall:

Nirvana:
Facility: 9/10
Enjoyability: 8/10
Difficulty:7.5/10

Paceline:

Enjoyability: 6/10

Difficulty 9/10
