Sweet Potato Flatbread

Only 2 ingredients are used to make this flatbread! You can top it off with some avocado hummus (recipe posted) and some grilled chicken for a balanced meal, or have it as a side for a salad bowl.

Serving Size: 4-5 Flatbreads

Ingredients:

1 cup sweet potato (steamed & mashed)

1 cup whole wheat flour

Procedure:

  1. Make sure sweet potato is mashed well, then add the flour to it.

  2. Mix well (using your hands is the easiest method).

  3. Add flour to a surface, then roll the dough into a log.

  4. Cut the dough up into 4-5 equal sections.

  5. Take 1 section, and roll it into a ball, then flatten the edges (adding flour as needed)

  6. Roll it out to create a thin circular shape.

  7. Place the dough on a heated skilled and cook until it starts to bubble, then flip.

  8. Repeat for the remainder of the dough.
