Tropical Smoothie Bowl
Our tropical smoothie bowl was such a hit in our last class that we wanted to share the recipe with you 😋 It’s perfect for breakfasts when you’re craving something fruity that’s also very filling and high in protein (23g in just the base!)
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen mango cubes
1 ripe banana
3/4 cup non fat greek yogurt
1/4 cup skimmed milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 a peach, sliced
Toppings:
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon coconut flakes
1/2 peach sliced
2 tablespoons toasted almond slivers
1/4 cup raspberries
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients (excluding toppings) into blender or food processor. Purée until smooth
2. Pour product into a bowl and top with the recommended toppings or whichever toppings you like😋
*Note: to make this into a drinkable smoothie reduce mango to 1/2 cup and increase milk to 3/4 cup 🍹
